Join us for a lively discourse by Bob Fanuzzi, associate professor at St. John’s University and chairman of community board 8,  United States citizens have celebrated Independence Day since the 1870s, and  so does Yes the Bronx. In 2005, Constitution Day—September 17, 1787—was established by Congress honoring the day 39 delegates to the Constitutional Convention signed the United States Constitution.

Yes sponsors this event as part of our Civics with Irving televison series to inform or remind “young adults” of all ages about their rights and  obligations as United States citizens, and where these rights come from—the U.S. Constitution. Use them or lose them!
